Blog Namesake

I should probably mention the namesake for this blog. At least when it started out, it was called "SF Public Transit is Really more of a Performance Art Piece." This was overheard in the Embarcadero (or Montgomery?) Metro on my way to Berkeley via Bart. A tour guide was explaining this to their group. Truly a hot take, out of context. Perfect blog name.

The URL, cafeambgel is Catalan for coffee (i.e., espresso) on ice. N.b. about 'espresso'. In Catalunya, espresso is espresso. Apparently in España, espresso is 'cafe solo'. Don't try that in Barcelona, just order an espresso. You're not in España :)
